his Holiness Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj
of the Divine Life Society, The School has

The
School is affiliated to the Central Board of
Secondary Education. The Central Board of
Secondary Education is well known and is
recognized not only in India but in many
other countries as well.
The Standards of educational curriculum as
laid down by the Board are carefully
designed by NCERT (The National Council for
Educational Research & Training), keeping in
view the real need of an average student.
They are primarily meant to promote the
student's intelligence, grasp and sense of
curiosity.

suitable for competitive examinations
designed by UPSC & other examining bodies.

every year in October/November
to game an opportunity to the

curricular activities and

art. Art and Craft are taught on
a regular basis. Plays and
Cultural functions are organized
on the Annual Day and national
festivals. Debates and Elocution
contests are also held

the children, they are allowed
to contribute feely to the
Annual School Journal (The
Luminous Lotus) and
Monthlies.They are acquainted
with inspired lives of the

Boy-Scouting and Girl-Guiding is
compulsory for senior students.
Training for Bulbul-Cubs is also
imported to the Junior Wing all
through the year. The Standards
for all these types of training
are all India level, and are
strictly according to the
instructions of the Government. |

To encourage the habit of thrift
among young children, the School
has bank, SANCHAIKA, where
students are asked to deposit
small amounts. The bank gives
prizes for regular deposits and
also gives an interest on
savings. The depositors can
withdraw their savings when
needed by them. The bank is
linked with National
Organization. |

The School is imparting Computer
Education as part of the
curriculum. It is part of
Intel’s Teach to the Future
Program. This helps the students
to keep pace with the changing
technology scene in India. It
also helps the students in their
Mathematics and Science Lessons.

Absence without prior permission
of the Principal on application
will not be allowed. Students
remaining absent without
adegvati reason of sickness will
be penalized. Application should
be submitted before the assembly
time. Parents should make sure
that their wards are regular and
punctual to the school.
Irregular attendance,
unjustified or unexplained
absence for more than 3 days,
disobedience or objectionable
moral influence justify
dismissal. |

To inculcate a civic sense,
dignity of labour and
environmental consciousness,
students are frequently
organized into different groups.
These groups are called upon to
under take Socially Useful and
Productive Work (SUPW), like
tending the garden, cleaning the
grounds. |

with the Rotary Movement. It has
an active INTERACT CLUB which,
other than its regular social
service activities, has adopted
Madrasa Imdad UI Uloom,
Kishanpur & the students provide

marginalized institution.
